Siena

Starting point for our tours is the city of Siena, the city of the "Palio", the famous horse race. Siena has a rich history and every brick can tell a story... With our base in Siena we have the ability to adjust the tours on a daily basis, depending on individual preferences or depending on weather conditions.

Tuscany Touring example Chianti

The wine region between Florence and Siena where the grapes for the famous Chianti Classico grow is playground for this tour. Spectacular views with every bend, little historic villages like Castellina in Chianti, and castles like Castello di Brolio enrich the experience. We travel about 200 miles a day throughout the whole region. We stop for lunch in a typical "Ristorante" and after a nice break, we are back on our way with our bikes until sunrise.

Tuscany Cultural Touring example Piero della Francesca

Piero della Francesca, born in 1416 in Sansepolcro, was a famous painter of the early renaissance. First we stop at Arezzo, at the basilica of San Francesco, where we have the chance to see his world famous frescoes of the "Legend of the True Cross". In Arezzo we will also see the unique "Piazza Grande". From Arezzo we tour towards the Apennine mountain range to the city of Sansepocro. Here we will visit the "Museo Civico" where we will see his most famous works. Milage per day about 180.

Lunchtime in Tuscany

Each trip has a culinary delight. Pienza, for example, lets us taste the famous Peccorino cheese. Arezzo with its Chiantina meats are unique specialties from the region. Discover the handmade Ravioli Marremani on our tour to the south of Tuscany near the Etruscan towns of Pittigliano, Sorano and Sovana.
