Driving licence

Your driver’s license must be valid in Italy. Clients from outside the European Union need an International Driving License. Information regarding driving in Italy can be found on the U.S. Department of State web site: driving in Italy. Please be sure your driving license is valid for the entire duration of the tour. Traffic in Italy: the rider bears sole responsibility for complying with the traffic laws of the countries visited. Please follow the instructions of the tour guide.

Driving skills

We will tour about 155 miles, per day, that means in this region at least 4 times the milage are curves. Lets say up to one tousand. So you should be able to drive on narrow winding roads up to 155 miles a day. Average speed will be arround 30 miles per hour. You should be save under this conditions. If riders want to go faster, no problem. Thanks to the perfect knowing of the tour, the Tourguide let you know when a longer part comes where you can ride freely your pace. At the next junktion, the Tourguide will be there to indicate you the way.

Weather information

Temperatures in the area where we are touring in the summer change throughout the day varying from 40°F to 104°F.
